So, off we went to Sydney for only the second visit since we moved to Queensland 7 years ago. The girls were very keyed about flying. They have flown many times before, but must have been too young to remember. The reason for the visit was Maria's 40th surprise party. I couldn't pass up seeing friends I've known for many years and shared such great times with.
It was great, we did lots of touristy things, saw all the people I miss SO MUCH from Sydney and to my relief - got homesick. Wasn't sure if I would feel the pull to return to QLD or whether Sydney would lure me back although I've always maintained that Sydney is a great place to visit but I wouldn't want to live there again.
