Went to our first Woodford festival. It was amazing; lots of vibrant people, great music, entertainers, excellent weather and did I mention the people?
We camped with two other unschooling families and although the days were pretty jam packed with things to do we still managed to get a small amount of chillout time.
Met a fascinating woman called Adie who is involved with the Alice Springs Beanie Festival. Adie was sitting on a blanket under a fig tree crocheting beanies. Her beanies were works of art, so interesting and such an eye for colour. Adie was also showing people how to crochet without using a pattern, so I eventually picked up a hook and completed my first ever beanie in under 3 hours. Now I'm keen to get started on my second one, just need the supplies.
